Varietal, fruit centric, a gentle dried herb and youthful with aromas of dark berries, black cherry some plum and a core of fine gravel minerality. On the palate - fruity, savoury, warm and varietal. Flavours mirror the nose, dusty tannins and medium acidity. The warmth of the alcohol and bold tannins have quite an impact, but these are tempered by the fruit. The oak is ever present with flavours of toasty wood, clove and baking spices offering a bold platform to showcase the fruit, savoury and core style of Tempranillo. Best drinking from today and through 2022. Food recommended.
