Greenhough Hope Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Bright, floral and light spice notes with a hint of youthful reduction on the nose. The palate is full and richly fruited showing cherry and red plum. Notable structure is nicely imbedded from start to end. There is a generous joyous character and energy to the wine with balance between grip, freshness and bright lush fruit.

Clay-rich loam/river stone over deep gravels.

Portion whole bunch fermented at cooler temperatures with minimal punch downs, Wilde yeast fermentation. Total time on skins 13-22 days.

11 months maturation in 228 litre French oak (15% new/13% I year)
