Johanneshof Cellars

Johanneshof Cellars is a Boutique Winery established in 1991 by two winemakers from Germany and New Zealand. Wines, Methode Traditionnelles and Brandy are crafted on site, from hand-harvested Marlborough grapes. Pioneering New Zealand’s first underground Rock Cellar where wines mature at a constant temperature of 12 degrees Celsius, and the bottle-fermented Methode Traditionnelles rest on lees for up to ten years. Much awarded over 30 years including ’Best Aromatic White Wine of the World” in ‘Decanter World Wine Awards 2005’, London & "Marlborough Self-employed Women of the Year ".
